On March 21, 2020, the IRS announced that the 2019 tax filing due date was extended from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020.
Taxpayers can also defer their taxes due payments until July 15, 2020. This payment deferral includes the quarterly estimated tax payments normally due on April 15 and June 15.
